I’d love to see the candidates answer this one.

ETA: My interest in this question is not because I think it’s impossible to be both religious and intelligent, but because religion is such a huge part of US politics (and often used in an anti-intellectual manner) that it would be near impossible for most candidates to answer. Without putting their foot in it, at any rate.
