I'm sick of dudes derailing conversations about rape. They love focusing on grey areas or minority cases so they don't have to deal with the fact that a) the overwhelmingly majority of rapes are men against women b) these men often get away with it if it's reported c) society doesn't care and d) fellow men are complicit in the entire process. I'm utterly fatigued by it. How hard is it to say that if you don't know someone don't take a chance that you'll make them feel unsafe?
